For the price this was a great stay! Convenient location and check in was easy. The room had a funny smell and we needed to light a candle to freshen up the room. Checkout was a little hard, there was no one to help.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Great place for a weekend getaway! Easy access to the freeway and within miles of Monterey Bay and Cannery Row. Also a walkable beach right across the street!

The staff were just there to do the basic and nothing special. There is no coffee pot or freezer, just a regular refrigerator, no microwave, and unless you brought ear-plugs, you may as well be trying to sleep next to the Daytona Speedway. This is a bare-bones MOLR, (Motel Of Last Resort). Cheap, and for a reason.

Limited parking for a larger vehicle, but owner did move his vehicle late at night so that I could park my truck. Our room was very close to a high traffic road which cars rolled by into the early morning. Room was clean.

Good value fir the price!

This motel is not a new nor a good viewed but it was clean and good for the price. It is located in convenient place because it is close from restaurants, famous beaches, and 17 miles drive way. If I will visit this area again, I may come back to this motel.

Came into town just to check what time early check in was & they literally let us check in right there & we got our room !! It was very quiet, very clean & if we do come back out this way we’ll definitely be staying here.

First off the toilet wasn’t sealed to the floor wobbling all over the place and then you don’t have your own microwave, which is stupid because they make you share one like a public restroom

Typical cheap motel. Kinda place where you wonder if they wash the comforter between guests. Room had a "smell" to it. Good enough for a cheap place in Monterey, Starbucks is right around the corner too.

Old facilities, the room is very small, be careful when walking around or you will hit the head of the bed, look not very clean and tidy, toilet and mold, choose carefully

This is a motel after all so if you have high expectations for staying here then lower them. They keep their rooms decently clean, but expect small things like no microwave in each room, a leaky faucet and older appliances. Overall, the Monterey Oceanside Inn motel is decent for staying a couple of nights in a pinch and is reasonably affordable for a room.

When I first arrived and went in my room, I could hear the TV playing really loud and it was coming from the next door room. I spoke to the owner of the hotel that they had their TV really high , and she resolved the problem. Very nice..

Comfort sacrifices for the location!

Very economical. But it showed. No microwave or coffee machine in hotel room. Had to use microwave in lobby that closes at 9:30. Attendant was rude when I stopped by at 9:45 to heat up my kids dinner. Ran out of parking on 3rd night. Room service is only provided IF”requested” did not know this until 3rd day of 5 day trip. The one thing this hotel had going for it was location! It was central to everything family wanted access to, beaches, bike trail, Dennis the menus park and quick drive to cannery row.
