Holiday Home in Montone with Pool & Garden

Resting in Montone, between the sloping hills of northern Tiberdal, you will find this 1-bedroom holiday home. You have access to a spacious garden with swimming pool and playground. It is ideal for a small family or group of 4 persons.

Montone is a charming old Italian village. At 1.5 km from the holiday home, you have supermarkets and restaurants for daily needs. If you fancy a pleasant day by the water, you are only 30 km away from Lake Trasimeno. For excursions, the medieval cities of Gubbio and Perugia are about 40 km. Gubbio has numerous palazzi to watch out and Perugia is famous for its art among other things.

You have indoor heating in the holiday home for comfort. Before plunging into the pool you can soak up on the loungers. The private terrace with garden furniture is great to linger outdoors. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit hier! Das Haus war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl wir die meiste Zeit mit Erkundungen verbracht haben, war es schön, abends in ein gemütliches Zuhause zurückkehren zu können.

Het was geen prettige aankomst....we kwamen erg laat aan, tegen middernacht, daar kon de huiseigenaar niets aan doen. Maar er was veel niet in orde. We hebben aangegeven dat we met twee honden kwamen, dat was niet bekend, ook niet in ons 1e vakantieadres en ook niet bij deze -ons 2e adres- en ook niet bij ons 3e adres, dat is heel vervelend als een huiseigenaar dat niet verwacht. De huiseigenaresse van dit huis was sinds een paar weken weduwe geworden, dat wisten wij niet, wij konden geen woord met haar spreken want zij kon alleen maar Italiaans, ons Italiaans is vrij beperkt, het is heel lastig om zo met elkaar een gesprek aan te gaan over essentiële zaken. Allereerst de honden maar ook ons fornuis deed het niet naar behoren, we konden niets aan de kook krijgen, er waren ook (Italiaanse) gasten die daar doordeweeks werkten en in het weekend weer vertrokken, geeft niets maar ze hadden veel lawaai om zich heen. veel woon-werkverkeer zeg maar. De uitrusting van de keuken is erg summier. Maar....ook veel pluspunten, een authentiek Italiaans huis, een prachtige omgeving, een heerlijk zwembad. We hebben ons prima vermaakt deze week maar het is prettig om te weten wat je wachten staat. Wij hebben een waterkoker aangeschaft zodat we toch kokend water hadden voor iig koffie, wij hebben altijd een bbq bij ons zodat wij buiten kunnen koken, voor dit huisje is het goed om meerdere keukenspullen vanuit huis mee te nemen! (Snijplank, messen, etc).

La casa de vacaciones era acogedora y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para una escapada relajante, El amplio jardín era perfecto para que nuestros hijos jugaran, y nos encantó descansar junto a la piscina después de un día de exploración en Montone, Los restaurantes y tiendas locales estaban a solo un corto trayecto en coche, lo que facilitó la obtención de suministros, ¡Un gran lugar para familias que buscan relajarse!

We hebben genoten van onze tijd in Montone, en het vakantiehuis was een fijne uitvalsbasis voor onze avonturen, Het was schoon en comfortabel, met een prachtig terras waar we onze ochtendkoffie hadden, De huiseigenaar was vriendelijk en liet ons welkom voelen, Hoewel de locatie een beetje afgelegen is, waardeerden we de rust en het prachtige uitzicht op de heuvels, Zou aanbevelen voor een vredige retraite!
