Hotel Waldorf Montparnasse

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was very close to the Metro and many shops. The staff was very helpful with all our questions & needs. The only downside was the room was a little small for 3 adults, the 3rd bed was a little hard and the bath tub was very high to step in and out of. Other than that everything was wonderful."

Hôtel Vacances Bleues Villa Modigliani

10/10 Excellent

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room was very quiet being at end of corridor and overlooked the courtyard which was nice. Breakfast is optional, we opted for it twice and although initially thinking a little pricey (€21), but in actual fact it is a very good, all you can eat buffet type breakfast with cooked slices of French sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, garlic mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns), fresh baguette bread, croissant, pains au chocolate, jams, Nutella, honeycomb of fresh honey. Selection of cheeses and cold meats, yoghurt on tap with at least 6 different toppings etc Non dairy yoghurt, fresh coulis, prunes, figs, apricots, prunes etc Fresh orange juice squeezed by the machine while you wait and coffee and tea from machine with all the usual coffees. Location of hotel was superb for us near 5th, 6th and 7th arrondissements and three different metro lines within 5 - 7 minute walk. Fantastic boulangeries, fruit and veg, fromagerie, boucherie, small supermarket in the street of Rue Delambre and fantastic eating out places from traditional French bistros to high end dining, Indian, Korean, Japanese to name a few. Le Plumb du Cantal restaurant was a highlight. We ate wonderfully for 3 nights at an average €55 for two of us per night. And finally special mention to Axel at reception who was really helpful, charming, funny and silly with us, my kind of humour! Keep up the good work!"

Hôtel du Parc

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel satisfied our needs: a clean, convenient hotel near Gare Montparnasse, with some interesting nearby sights to see before we had to catch a midafternoon train. The only negative (which we knew in advance) was that the lobby is on the first floor, requiring you to walk up a flight before an elevator is available. We had heavy suitcases so this was a bit cumbersome during check-in, but at checkout the desk kindly jumped up and offered to help me with my bag down the stairs. Breakfast was tasty."
