"Charming! This pleasant inn reminded me of something in a Miss Marple novel. My room was clean and well-furnished. Staff was pleasant; there doesn’t seem to be often someone at the front desk, but my call to the duty phone was answered quickly. I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but it looked and smelled great. My one complaint is the parking lot: the lines are so close together it was hard to park and then hard to open my car door. Overall: a lovely place and I'd stay there again."

"This was a bucket list item of mine. One of my favorite movies is the Sound of Music. Full circle between the movie, watching how it was made and the history tour of the Von Trapps. Highly recommend"

"the property is very unique. The soaker tub was amazing and it was super quiet. Its odd in that to get to our first floor room from the parking lot you have to go down 2 flights of stairs with a lot of twists and turns but its quirky. Breakfast is not much so don't expect much to be served, but the staff is very friendly and easy to help."

"All of the front desk staff were very friendly, everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the complimentary coffee & selection of tea available in the lobby daily. We also enjoyed the fire pit & sitting on the porch "

"Rooms were clean. The hotel is close to lots of great cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The grounds and accomodations are very nice. The complain has to do with the two main restaurants. One can expect based on the beautiful and elegant settings a much better meal experience even more considering the prices. We had dinner at Alpine Hall and room service from Tipsy Trout and we just can't recomend them. It is advisable to seak a nice meal experience elsewhere."
