"This is property is the perfect quiet little getaway. Country area with beautiful views of the lake, the woods, the farms. Out in the middle of nowhere, (which is exactly what we were looking for) but 30 minutes or less from just about anything you can imagine, Lakes, wineries, breweries, Syracuse,etc. Will definitely be visiting again!"

We also loved the character of this house; while obviously built in a different era, the updates improved the home while retaining the charm. Beforehand, owner was initially responsive however would have liked that to continue during our stay as we did not receive much during our stay. Listing should really mention steep spiral stairs to basement and to upstairs as for our small children needed help for safety as well as one adult who had a bad knee could not do these stairs. Recommend non slip treads for safety. Also recommend...

"We arrived at 6 pm and the cleaning people were still there. The owner had forgotten our booking until I contacted him at 4 pm for check in instructions. We were not able to get inside before going to a concert. When we got back at 12 am, the cleaner had not locked the door and the other door was left open/ajar, in not the best neighborhood. The place itself was as described. "

"Aloft never disappoints. We’ve stayed at quite a few of them. They re always clean, easy to get to and we’re always met with friendly staff. The Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor was our last stop on a week’s vacation. We chose the inner harbor location so we could walk easily to get something to eat - which was the case. A brewery was a short 3-6 min walk. Our room was great - as usual. A super comfortable bed with excellent pillows. The shower was great as well. Alofts are so nice to stay at. If there's one in the area we’re going - we stay there."
