reserve una habitación y cuando llegamos el personal amablemente nos condujo a ella y nos ofrecieron una bebida de cortesía, ahí empezó todo, la habitación tenia cucarachas cerca del baño y el tarro donde venia la bebida estaba sucio de labial, nos ofrecieron un upgrade y cuando llegamos a la nueva habitación muy bonita por cierto, de nuevo varias cucarachas en la regadera y el lavabo del baño, finalmente nos cambiaron de nuevo de habitación ya sin problema de cucarachas, pero al día siguiente muy temprano empezaron a preparar unas desayuno justo debajo de esta habitación haciendo demasiado ruido, horrible experiencia y detalles que un hotel boutique no se debería permitir

This was our first visit to Morelia. The hotel is beautiful. Feels like your own mansion. Unfortunately for us we only had one night to spend in Morelia so we didn't get to appreciate all this hotel has to offer but we are already looking forward to visiting this hotel again.

Forever hotel in Morelia
Gave MAJA a try for the first time. We have stayed in several Morelia hotels over the years and MAJA tops the list. Clean well appointed rooms - we had No. 4 with an incredible view of the city below. Restaurant was wonderful and all meals were served with an artistic touch. Breakfast was included and served so beautifully - best chilliquias ever! We have found our forever hotel in Morelia. Gracias guys!

Absolutely wonderful hotel, five star service and amenities. We were greeted with a welcome drink (coffee and fresh green juice were our choices). The design and ambiance is gorgeous, both antique and contemporary. The rooms are each unique and cozy, and ours had a wonderful view. We loved the robes, slippers, soft towels and very comfortable large beds. Loved the reading lights and nice toiletries. Dinner was delicious and inventive, and breakfast was so thoughtfully and beautiful prepared and tasty. A standout was our experience with the spa. The masseuses are extremely talented here - some of the best, most healing massages we have ever had. Don’t skip the massage! We wished we had done 1.5 hours instead of just 1. The receptionist was also very accommodating. We enjoyed room service and attentive care. We were so comfortable at this hotel and loved the view - we even got to see fireworks over Morelia from our window for a holiday. We wish we could return soon!

A truly amazing hotel with a superb hospitality. A beautifully appointed, well decorated, sparkling clean hotel with a very attentive and friendly staff. A short drive to downtown Morelia. The hotel restaurant has an amazing food too! Highly recommended!

The staff was amazing. Very attentive and with enough English speaking members that I had no issues communicating my needs, despite my limited Spanish vocabulary. Truly an amazing property.

A Gem in Morelia
I rarely believe such glowing reviews.... In a word: Wow... A true gem. Small-ish room but everything there had a purpose, had a modern feel and was just right. The staff is great throughout. I was able to relax, work and looooved the breakfast there. Next time ... I should bring someone along to fully enjoy the romantic vibe and views the Maja has to offer.

Una estancia en familia muy padre.
El hotel Maja es muy acogedor y con un diseño muy padre. Siento que el área del alberca podría ser mejor porque en las fotos te da la impresión que está más grande y más completa. También le hace falta subir la temperatura unos 3 o 4 grados. El desayuno y comida muy rica. Fuimos en familia y las camas de los niños no estaban muy cómodas y hay una tragaluz en el cuarto que deje entrar todo la luz en la mañana.

This is a beautiful place to stay in Morelia for those that want to have a relaxed atmosphere in a very safe place. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and updated with good amenities. The food at the hotel is great as is the staff. This place also has a very nice view of the city as it sits high above Morelia overlooking the cathedral.

Customer service was exceptional. The rooms and restrooms were very nice. The view from the balcony had a beautiful view of the city and Cathedral. The food was also very good, both breakfast and dinner. Great overall experience. Will certainly come back.

Run! Don't walk to this property. I have NEVER in my life been treated so wonderfully than at the Maja Boutique Hotel. This review is 3 months old. We arrived the last week of January and were newly engaged (LGBTQ+). We flew in after sun down. Neither of us speak a lick of spanish. Its like that didn't matter. We used google translate and that was enough. At this property, you recieve the most amazing service! When we finally emerged from our sleep the next afternoon, we were greated and had snacks IMMEDIANTLY!!!! Then they took our order, we found a cozy spot outside, drank and snacked and were completly taken care of. We received the best advice for local resturants and the front desk set up our departure Uber to the airport. I have recommended this place to everyone I know. If you don't want to be stuck in a tourist trap, get here. I will 100% be back with friends.

Great boutique hotel in Morelia!!!!!!!!
Amazing hotel in a quiet neighborhood! Quaint boutique hotel with beautiful patio and garden area with nice pool and unbelievable view of Morelia..Not everyone spoke English but were able to communicate quite well. Very helpful with arranging tours and airport transfers.. Restaurant and bar on site. The fruit tray for breakfast was amazing!!! Request room#1 if available.....Large master bedroom with large bathroom, huge double shower and unbelievable closet dressing area,,.the view from the bedroom was amazing but had electric blackout shades if needed. Took the trip to Maricopa to see the Monarch butterflies.....Amazing! However, it is a FULL day tour approximately 3.5hrs each way!...... The old town area is very nice with many nice restaurants shopping etc

Beautiful and friendly boutique hotel in Morelia
Maja Hotel Boutique is an amazing place. It is a beautiful property with luxurious and spacious rooms located in a garden setting on a slope with wonderful views of the city of Morelia. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious and beautifully prepared. The hotel is very welcoming and will make you feel at home. It was an outstanding experience and we will definitely return.
