"A lovely old building, lots of character. Very welcoming. Lovely food in the restaurant. Breakfast was a great selection and fresh."

"Beds were very comfortable and towels large and fluffy. Would have appreciated a second upholstered chair, rather than a plastic on which wasn't comfortable for watching TV. Also there is no safe in the room. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was very good, despite the rather lax service. The pool was lovely and warm and really relaxing. The sauna and steamroom were also a bonus on a cold evening."

"It must be frustrating for hotel proprietors/owners when people leave bad reviews considering this a budget property.Good points,24 hr reception and free car park.Basic but ridiculously cheap breakfast.Adequate size room for one overnight stay.Warm room and everything was clean.The gentleman on reception in the evening was incredibly polite and the delightful lady in the morning was a credit to the hotel."
