"I remember staying here when I was young. I am 53 now and wanted to see it again. It's on the historic Route 66 and I remember doing it as a child and now i went here as an adult. Very nostalgic. I loved staying here. It is a beautiful property and you would never know it was so old. It has been up kept very nicely and the swimming pool area is lovely and even had bar service right there at your lounge chair. The restaurant we ate at for dinner was delicious if a bit slow and crowded but definitely worth the wait and breakfast the next morning was divine. Rooms are spacious and quaint "
"Sedona is amazing. The hotel was amazing. The staff was amazing. The astronomer they had come for the stargazing party was beyond amazing! I’ll be back!"
"I did not want to leave. I stayed an extra night and then still waited til 10:59 to check out at 11:00. My only complaint is the leaf blowing. It went on for over an hour each morning. It really interferes with the serenity when you're trying to enjoy with your morning beverage on the deck. It drowns out the sound of the creek! I looked it up - there are quiet leaf blowers. An investment in them would be a very smart thing to do. "
"From what I observed the property has finished the reno on the rooms and currently working on the pool area. There was minimal noise, and if there was any at all it was during the day when we were on our way out for activities.
The room was very spacious and the views were perfect from the second floor. The only suggestion I would have is maybe declining the valet service if its not that busy. We for some reason thought it was required, but that was an error our part. If you do valet and don't want to drive, they offer a car service within a certain vicinity as well as a golf cart service to the main hotel and their amenities. Within the area were all the great choices for restaurants and shops. We loved the pizza place nearby and the ice cream shop across the way. The concierege was also very helpful and provided us with a map as well as suggestions for activities and hiking spots. Overall we were very pleased with our little staycation."
