"Staff were brilliant
I have had breakfast before and fantastic plenty to eat
Bar. And outside area great lots of room
Sad to say it all needs updating up stairs.
All bathrooms need updating and decor and carpets need gone.
Definitely the WiFi needs sorting out so you can get on it when you are in your room
I wanted to chill out and watch Netflix but no internet
Apart from that always a lovely stay and they accept dogs which is fab"

"Lovely stay, room immaculate, staff friendly and attentive on arrival (thank you Susan!) Bar/pub welcoming, nice friendly atmosphere. Could not fault food, was tasty, fresh and good portion sizes. Breakfast was served in lovely communal area where we could help ourselves to drinks. Overall great overnight stay. Thank you ☺️ "

"The room was lovely with plenty of tea and coffee provisions and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very enjoyable"
"Gorgeous little B&B run by the lovely Les. Everywhere was spotless and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfy, very pretty and had everything we could need for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Felt like by the end of our stay that Les had become a friend and a confidante 😉
Definitely planning a return trip…"
"Just enjoyed a great weekend break at The Queen’s Head in Rothbury. Room was spotless and good to have a separate shower cubicle too. Plenty of sockets and a lovely light up mirror in the bathroom
Bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Staff were friendly and very helpful and a super breakfast was a bonus.
My only wish was a fan to cool us and the room down
Would certainly recommend The Queens Head to anyone visiting Rothbury"
"Great find, as never visited the area before. Very welcoming establishment more of a bistro eating place. No separate area for residents. Small outside area with tables which is nice in good weather, this could be livened up with plants and lights. Rooms lovely, spacious and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ate tea ( Sunday lunch) one of the best I’ve eaten and large portions! Breakfast very good too, with great choice. Loads to do around the area and will be back ."
"Spotlessly clean. Top quality. Recently and tastefully refurbished to a high standard. Welcoming check-in. Perfect location, peace and tranquility with great walks in every direction. Totally dog friendly. Fantastic breakfast with a great range from waffles, fruit and maple syrup to full english. Outside games for the kids (and grown-up ones) and areas to relax, enjoy the views, eat or just drink in sun or shade. Bar and restaurant with pool tables as well as a boot room after muddy walks. Great value for money and would recommended the Coleridge's room even for a couple giving a luxurious space and elegance. Rooms are all named after poets. Service was immaculate and a big thanks to our hosts."
