"The Villa was spectacular and unusual. The outdoor swimming pool and downstairs indoor pool area were beautiful. The background of volcanic rock enhance the appearance of the pool area.The outdoor sun loungers were of high quality, so for quieter days it was lovely relaxing by the pool.We had breakfast on the patio every morning which was very pleasant.The main living area in the villa was a unique combination of art gallery and sports hall with numerous paintings and lots off decent equipment for indoor activities.The villa was well equipped. However, we learned how to use a traditional coffee maker on the stove and coped fine without a microwave oven which back home we have become too reliant on.The location of the villa was rural and was essentially set in a wood, so plenty of bird noises to hear along with occasional murmuring from Mount Etna ( which is a quite benign volcano and very closely monitored).A car is very useful ( essential) to have to explore the numerous tourist attractions in that part of Sicily.Communications were good before arrival, and we did not have any issues during our stay."
