"This was an overnight stop on our way to Italy. The hotel was very quiet despite close proximity to the motorway. The staff were really helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice views over the surrounding hills. No tea/coffee in the room but a station off reception with free water, tea and coffee. There was no breakfast in the hotel but a croissant was provided in the morning and if someone wants a larger breakfast then the buffet restaurant next to the hotel is available. Also, hotel guests receive a 20% discount on a meal there and there was a fair choice of food to suit most people. We would definitely be happy to stay there again, particularly with the cost of Swiss accommodation which can be much more expensive if you’re not planning on spending more time there"

"We had an amazing family vacation to celebrate my parents’ 50th. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the refreshing daytime dips in the pool. I am an anxious/over planner and Michele provided me with great responses to all of my questions that made our trip memorable— including enjoying his mothers lasagne one night which made for a lovely stay at home family dinner. Some people in my family (there were 8 adults) hadn’t wanted to rent a second car (they had arranged private transport) but a car is a must — short drive to colico and we also enjoyed varena (and took the ferry there over to bellagio)"

"Hotel Nolda is a charming place to stay; staff were cheerful and helpful; room was clean; bathroom was clean; bed was comfortable. Room was small, but that's not a negative. The stream in front of the hotel is a bonus, and you're only a very brief walk to the cable car. Unfortunately, it was not operating when we arrived after 6 pm."
