"Our stay in Tahiti / Moorea had both wonderful moment and some disappointments.The biggest highlight of this property is its incredible location. Walking out the back door directly onto a private beach was absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours enjoying the crystal-clear water and were amazed to see colorful tropical fish, sharks, stingrays, eels, and crabs right from the shoreline. Having that experience just steps from the house made our trip truly memorable.The home was spacious with a nice kitchen, which was important to us since we preferred preparing our own meals instead of staying at a resort.Unfortunately, the cleanliness and pest issues significantly impacted our stay. The sofa pillows were noticeably dirty, to the point that I removed them from the couch during our visit. There were spider webs throughout the property, and bugs were visible as soon as we arrived. We had to call the host back on our first day because there was a large infestation of ants inside the home.Throughout our stay, a lizard lived behind the refrigerator and frequently came out which was startling. By the third night, numerous small beige insects appeared across the kitchen countertop. We recognize that tropical, beachfront properties may naturally attract insects; however consistent pest management and routine cleaning would significantly enhance the experience. We chose to stay for the exceptional beachfront setting. With improvements this property would be outstanding. 5/5"

"Amazing resort and the renovated rooms are beautiful! Breakfast was great. Staff are very friendly and the beach is stunning. If you can, splurge on the overwater bungalows. Truly a bucket list experience and stay. 10/10 honeymoon experience for my fiance and I, and the hotel made it extra special."

"We had the most memorable stay thanks to the wonderful host, Kiki. So friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculate. Extremely clean and the communal kitchen area was well stocked with everything you can think of. It’s so nice to have a full kitchen available to help lower the overall costs of a vacation (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker…) And having washing machine made a huge difference. We were able to pack less and keep our beach towels clean😊. You cannot beat the location. The Lodge is less than a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. There is a small market nearby and a large grocery store five minutes away. There is also a Hertz and Thrifty rental car location within a five minute walk as well. Our favorite beach, Temae beach is an 8 min drive away. When you walk down the driveway. You cross the street and can see the sun rising over the bay. It is so beautiful and serene. Wonderful way to start the day. I would recommend this Lodge to everyone. Great for solo travel and also for families. It was the best price I found on the entire island, and was so pleased with the result. A lot of times you look at pictures of an periphery and you are underwhelmed when you arrive. This was the complete opposite. The pictures were good, but it was even better in person. 5 stars for the accommodations, amenities, location, staff, and value. Staying at this Lodge made our already amazing vacation an unforgettable one. I highly highly highly recommend Vaiare Lodge."

"This property was tucked away from everything and it being on the water was very peaceful. We spent a lot of time near or in the water. We took Kayaks out, which were provided from the host, to go explore the waters. We found coral close by and snorkeled just a short paddle away from the house. The outside shower was really nice and very private, even though it was outside. Our bedroom was air conditioned, which was nice, but we only used it at night while we were sleeping. Over great stay and really private. "

"We just stayed three nights at Fare Manta. The property was lovely, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the hosts Nathalie and Stefan (and their sweet dog Lhasa) warm and welcoming. It’s not right on the ocean, but you’re only 100 yards away, Highly recommended."
