Exactly what we were needing

We were in town for a friend’s wedding and preferred not to stay in a hotel. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, and so peaceful! Leah was extremely accommodating and lovely to chat with. Would definitely stay again if we need a place while visiting our friends.

Amazing cabin in the perfect location! Cabin was extremely clean and all amenities were as described. Host was very kind and had very good communication- keeping us updated on anything that was necessary throughout our stay. Would absolutely book again.

Heavenly Hideaway

Overall, just amazing! Beautiful, quaint, quiet slice of paradise. The hot tub was the selling point, especially after tackling the endless number of trails in the area. If you want the most in privacy, peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The host was extremely accommodating and wanted nothing more than our happiness. We'll definitely be back!!

A perfect place for a getaway

This property is exactly as advertised. It is quiet, but not isolated. You are close to lots of hiking. The cabin has everything you will need for a lovely stay. A word of advice: bring in all your groceries! It’s a ways away from the nearest store. And once you’re there you won’t want to leave anyway. Positives I wasn’t expecting: strong WiFi; really good water pressure; hot tub and fire pit; well thought out kitchen essentials. Negatives: can’t think of any!

I don’t even know where to start. Literally can’t say enough good things! I usually tent camp while hiking in the area, but wanted a place for the cold & rainy months. My dogs travel with me & finding this gem that is pet friendly made me so HAPPY! It is absolutely perfect in every way! You are right in the middle of the forest & there are so many awesome trails within 20 minutes- that’s initially what got me there. With rainy days in the forecast I began to research the area more. You are 20 minutes from Decatur, just less than an hour from Huntsville & Jasper & there are SO MANY quaint small towns nearby. Lots of history, art, museums, architecture, shopping & places to buy local goods! The cabin was super clean! Leah, the host is hands down the best! She really went out of her way to ensure everything is top notch, super responsive and offered so much helpful information. The cabin is incredibly well stocked & has so many extra amenities. The owners love this place & it truly shows throughout each room with the meaningful details. The property & grounds are very well kept and groomed. Awesome hot shower with great water pressure, comfy bed and super soft sheets & blankets! It was a major decision each night on whether we wanted to enjoy the views around the fire pit or soak in the hot tub. Very quiet, peaceful & a great place to disconnect then reconnect. Look for ducks on the pond and be sure to check out the view behind the home up the hill. Definitely will be back!
