"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "

"It was great to wake up to bird song instead of traffic noise, and almost everything I needed for my 4-day stay was there--even coffee and filters for the coffeemaker, which I didn't use because I brought my own, and dish detergent, a sponge, towels, etc. The shower control was very hard to pull out to increase water pressure, and the area rug in the front/bedroom seemed not to have been vacuumed in a while, as I discovered because I forgot my yoga mat. "The apartment was located in a quiet historic neighborhood a couple blocks from downtown. It was much larger than expected from the pictures and had everything we needed and more. Loved the decorations. We enjoyed walking around the area and looking at all the old buildings. The downtown area had a lot of good restaurants and shops. Was convenient to Shanandoah National Park for hiking. "
