"The room is updated and attractive. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t very good and hot coffee was hard to get. Parking was very good."

"The room was large and clean to begin with. When we book several months in advance we pick hotels specifically with a pool and a hot breakfast. When we arrived we were not told any of the following information. One, the pool was closed for service. We found out, after going to the pool, that is was closed. We learning that this pool closure is scheduled annually around this time and we should have but were not notified that is amenity was not going to be included. Second, we found that the person who comes in a prepares the breakfast had a scheduling issue and could not open the breakfast area until a hour later than normal. This was 40 minutes after we needed to leave forcing us to get breakfast out every morning for another amenity that we paid for and were not notified we would not be getting during our stay. Then, they never once came in and cleaned the room. We got no clean towels or bedding even after requesting. They did come into the room and took the tip after the first night, but did not in any way clean or neaten the room. No discount for these issues was offered. Lastly I booked and paid for this room on a travel site. When checking in they required a credit card which I provided. After checking out I found that they again charged me for the room. It took me multiple calls between the hotel, the travel site, and my credit card to get the charge removed. I will be staying in this area again next year for this event, however, I will not be staying there."

Lakefront Retreat on Lake Tillery – Cozy family Getaway with Dock & Scenic Views

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch. Water depth at dock was perfect for fishing and swimming. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed for cooking, although we did not cook alot. Be sure to get breakfast at the Twin Harbors Cafe and definitely eat lunch and/or dinner at River Wild. Great location!"

On the Main Channel, private dock, fire pit, beautiful sunsets, sleeps 8-10

"James was an unbelievable host. The Stillwater property has true easy access for parking and boating. The public boat ramp across the main road makes it too easy to bring your own boat for comfort. Fishing for the kids was seamless as the dock enjoys clear water all around. There are kids and adults life jackets for peace of mind (in clean condition). The short walkway to the dock has safety markings for added safety as well. The home is well cleaned and exceptionally functional for short or long term stays. You can truly pack light for a stay at Stillwater since most of what you could ask for is already on site."

"We had a wonderful stay. My ONLY complaint was the night time desk woman was very rude, however the person I spoke to in the morning more than made for het rude coworker. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was well made and a decent selection. I greatly enjoyed having coffee available 24 hrs a day. We will definitely be back."

Lake Tillery Retreat. Walk to Marina.

"Everything about the property was great and exactly as advertised. The home is well maintained inside and out, comfortable on every level, and looks just like the online listing. The neighborhood is quiet and just a 5-minute walk to the marina. John was very responsive when we reached out and offered his assistance if ever, we needed it. Our family had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend the property to anyone vacationing at Lake Tillery. Thank you John!"
