Anneke was kind enough to give them a tour of the property and introduce them to all the animals, and even went to the effort of setting up a scavenger hunt for them!The accommodation was perfect for our weekend away, with plenty of extra bedding and lots of toys and games for both kids and adults to enjoy. "After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great night away and highly recommended."
