"Perfect place to get away from the city and relax. For curious people there is plenty to do in the area - it's central to Castlemaine, Maldon, Daylesford, Maryborough, et al. For the non-curious, settle down in front of the firebox and read or watch the bird life through the window. We explored both options and enjoyed a very relaxing mid-winter getaway."

"I was met with a very engaging owner who showed me through the hotel. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and efficient heating. Bathroom was a shared bathroom but was very clean and plenty of hot water and large 'fluffy' towels. The evening meal was very tasty and there was not a long waiting time for the meal. Very helpful and friendly staff. A beautiful country hotel and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel."

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning panoramic views and the peaceful, natural surroundings. The cosy cabin was a dream — complete with a spa bath and open fireplace, it created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. The retreat features beautiful lakes where you can catch your own trout — a fun and rewarding experience. The onsite restaurant was a standout, showcasing premium trout and lamb sourced directly from the working farm, along with other high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding — warm, personal, and truly first class. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or simply a place to switch off and recharge, I couldn’t recommend Tuki Retreat more highly. A truly special place that leaves you feeling refreshed and inspired."

"Just returned from a perfect 2-night getaway at this lovely retreat. The wood fire was absolutely divine and created such a cozy atmosphere. The spaces throughout the property were beautifully designed and perfectly suited our needs.We were so comfortable with our sewcation (yes we spend the entire weekend inside sewing) that we didn't even venture out to explore - the property was self catering so we had everything we wanted for a stress free sewing weekend away.Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Daylesford. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"Everything was great here-one of the nicest caravan park/motel complexes we've stayed in! One minor thing though---PLEASE upgrade your internet ?wifi connection--the speed was so bad we gave up altogether during our stay and waited until we left --i'm sure its in the pipeline though given our impression we formed of the manager and staff--lovely people. Great place to stay in Maryborough!"
