Anneke was kind enough to give them a tour of the property and introduce them to all the animals, and even went to the effort of setting up a scavenger hunt for them!The accommodation was perfect for our weekend away, with plenty of extra bedding and lots of toys and games for both kids and adults to enjoy. Such a welcoming, family-friendly place with lots of thoughtful little touches.Thank you, Anneke, for a wonderful stay! We all had a fantastic time and would happily come back! "

"After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great night away and highly recommended."
