Underwhelmed. Did not get room reserved, and when politely questioned, no explanation or apology was offered, just a curt, "no that's not the room you are getting". Ok, proceeded to room, with no further welcoming and/or friendly discussion about the Inn, etc. Told key was hanging by the room, and that was about it. Cold and not very friendly, as mentioned by other reviewers. Unusual for an "Inn" of this supposed caliber. Room, (did I mention not the one reserved) was as expected otherwise. Bedding good, room clean.
Breakfast was standard institutional fare, with powdered "scrambled" eggs and sausage/bacon etc. Frozen waffles, heated on a steam table, with some compote spread on it. Exact same as you would get at a Hampton Inn, so don't expect much more.
There are far better options than the Cameron Estate Inn, and sadly; I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a true "high caliber Inn" experience.
Not coming back.
