"Room was clean but had a faint smell. Large air purifier and dehumidifier running loudly as we entered the room. The elevator has a weird carpet that catches on suitcases and makes it easy to trip. Guest floors are accessible to the public and rooms are locked via a keypad rather than keycard which makes it feel unsecured. Breakfast was average. Staff are nice but not strong English. 15 minute walk from station, no footpaths. "
"This was the highlight stay of our entire two-week trip! Absolutely beautiful hotel, stunning surroundings, convenient to Oishi Park. We were still waking up very early due to the time difference, so we went to the onsen to relax and watch the sunrise. It was wonderful.
Every single staff member here was phenomenal and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
When we left, we said we just wanted to come back to Hotel Rakuyu for the entirety of the trip next time!
Thank you for an incredible memory!"
"For me, it's perfect
Location:
- If you're looking for a breathtaking sight of Mt Fuji, this is the way to go. It may not be the most convenient Hotel but I'd say it has a great view of Mt. Fuji.
Staff:
- They are professional, Friendly and well Respected. They will give you very accurate information at their hotel and try their best to make you feel comfortable.
Dinner:
- Dinner is a must-have. I'm sure there are other options around, but make sure you try them since you're there. All their food was fresh or cooked on site. The quality is top-notch.
Room:
- The Mt. Fuji view room is everything you would expect for a four-star hotel. Clean, essentials were ready to use, comfortable, and quiet. I personally was very please at the fact that although it's right next to a busy street, I still got my quality sleep.
Breakfast:
- equally amazing as the dinner. I like that they had western style and a traditional Japanese breakfast. Be there early for an even better experience.
Overall, it's one of my personal favorites, and I definitely will come back in the future. Make sure you try their onsen while you're their you'll be surprise on how good it is."
"Stunning view of Mount Fuji. Hotel is very isolated and unless you have a car you will struggle to find anything. Staff at the hotel found it very amusing that we couldnโt beaccommodated for dinner and thereโs is nothing to buy in the hotel. "
