GARDEN OF THE VESUVIUS

"Giardino del Vesuvio" is located in the historic center of Terzigno, a "locus amoenus" where you can spend a relaxing and pleasant holiday, not only exploring but also having fun, since it is only 5 minutes from the Roman excavations sites in Pompeii, 15 minutes from Ercolano, 30 minutes from the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts and 20 minutes from splendid Naples (easily reached by train).
Terzigno is part of the natural park of Vesuvius, a UNESCO heritage site.
"Giardino del Vesuvio" is an apartment on the ground floor of a 19th century building, renovated in 2019.
The house has an entrance / living room / kitchen with a sofa bed for two people, a large and bright bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and a laundry area with a washing machine. Therefore, the accommodation is ideal for couples and families.
Guests will have access to an extensive garden, which represents an excellent environment for both children's fun and adults' tranquility, as it has a comfort zone and a solarium (available from 8 to 18. 30).

Great base camp.

Lovely stay at the apartment. Clean and has everything you would need. Pool is great, especially with the kids. Carlo and his sister were extremely helpful and quick to communicate.Terzigno is quiet so best to use as a base camp and explore. Pompeii is only 20minutes away, and the train station is an easy walk to give easy access to Naples.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

A great family legacy!

This beautiful property was a welcome reprieve from our long travels. The family has been involved with this property for multiple generations and the care they provide to the guests and lush gardens, make it feel like a slice of heaven in the middle of the city. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment and garden in a lively small town

The apartment has a wonderful garden and is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The road is not too busy, but still very loud - so don't forget your earplugs. A train station is a short walk away, so Terzigno is a good alternative location for exploring the Vesuvio area without having to stay in Napoli. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back some day.

Naples and Vesuvius right in the middle

A stay in Naples could not have been nicer. The spacious and quiet accommodation was old but in very good condition. The lack of air conditioning was negligible. The landlord was very friendly and was happy to help us with tips for our stay. Gladly again.

My family and i had a fabulous 9 night stay at the Garden of the Vesuvius. Fortunato was a fantastic host. So welcoming and incredibly helpful with information about the local area. He went above and beyond. The pastries at breakfast time on our first and last mornings were delicious! The facilities at the property were brilliant. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were super comfortable and the pool was an absolutely amazing bonus. Perfect when the temperature was in the 30s! Terzigno is a quiet town but the train and bus links to the surrounding towns are frequent so we made day trips to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Capri from here. All in all a wonderful break! Thank you!

Enjoyable stay near Pompeii

Had a lovely 3 nights in the apartment. The pool was great to jump into with the temperature in the mid 30s and we found the everything we needed was supplied. Great communication with the owners who gave lots of good advice and recommendations. Pompeii was even better than we imagined and we also walked to the top of Mount Vesuvius which was also interesting.

Great apparment 5 stars!

Everything with this apartment is great! Rooms are big (high ceilings), beds are comfortable, you have all the equipment you need, the pool is a luxury! And the owner is great, everything was top of the top! We were there as a family of 5 and really enjoyed the apparment; it was hard to leave for our day trips 🙃. Would recomend this app to a friend!!!

Fabulous Place

We stayed at the property for 11 nights and what a gorgeous place this is. Beautiful clean apartment with lovely outdoor area and gorgeous gardens with lemon and orange trees, and the cleanest pool I've ever seen. We had a lovely stay and Carlo was great giving us advice on restaurants, booking ferries to Capri, car parking in Pompeii and places to visit. He was very attentive and very helpful, and we would not hesitate in recommending this property

Lovely hosts!

The apartment is lovely, very spacious and comfortable and had everything needed. The hosts were very friendly and we felt very welcome! The location wasn’t ideal for us as we weren’t driving so spent a lot of time travelling to the places we wanted to see but if you drive or know the train system well the location will be fine :)

Everything from the family who own/run the apartment to the apartment itself are wonderful. The family is very hospitable and assisted us with our adventures as well as shared the history of the home, which we enjoyed. The apartment is as stated online, nice and clean and has all the necessities. We also thoroughly enjoyed soaking up some sunshine in the courtyard. Die Wohnung ist modern und hübsch eingerichtet. Ganz hohe Decken und es ist ein Altbau, weswegen auch keine. Klimaanlage nötig ist. Ein nett angelegter Garten mit Möbeln umringt von Hauswänden darf benutzt werden.. Das Highlight war der Hund Lucky.

Schöne, renovierte Wohnung in guter Lage und sehr nette Vermieter.

Die Lage in Terzigno ist schön ruhig und malerisch, mit dem Blick auf Vesuv. Pompei ist nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.Gute Lage für Ausflüge zum Vesuv oder nach Neapel. Von dort ist nicht weit zur Amalfiküste. Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und sehr schön. Möglichkeit draußen im Garten im Pool schöne Abkühlung zu genießen, die wir gerne genutzt haben. Sehr nette und hilfreiche Vermieter. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!
