"Great for one night because all we needed was good A/C (July - 100 degrees) and a comfortable bed. Only negative was cleanliness as my husband found used dental floss on the bathroom floor."

"While rooms were small (little walking space around two queen beds), this was a comfortable and pleasant stay. The manager obviously takes great pride in the place! Location right next door to the Western Film Museum was a bonus. Do go visit it. Tip: Be sure to take the drive up to Whitney Portal."

"We loved our stay at Reo's Ranch! The house wakes to incredible views of the Alabama Hills and the on-site amenities felt like a high end mountain chateau. The house itself has lots of space and was a wonderful retreat after long days out in the heat, exploring the trails and local outdoor excursions. It had everything we needed, including a fully functional kitchen and good pillows. The hosts were responsive and surprised us with thoughtful messages, encouraging us during a big foot race we were competing in nearby Death Valley. We feel as though we lucked out with the best place in the area and have already recommended it to all our friends! We will surely book again next visit! Thank you!"

"This property is truly special. I’ve never been able to relax the way I did while at Lone East. Lydia, the owner/host, was just amazing and so welcoming. My only regret is that we didn’t have time to share a glass of wine and get to know her better. Thank you for a very special few days."

"An amazing and unique housing structure for large groups. Very spacious and comfortable. Even with 5 people staying here it did not feel crowded at all; however, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen and some bathroom areas. Also, more concerning for us, was that we saw a few mice in the house. One hiding in the master bedroom closet, the other by the living room area. Potentially more throughout the house, so be mindful of this. The house is quite remote with a large open field next to it so I’m sure many critters probably get in. Other than that it was a nice stay."
