"We had a great stay. The only thing that would have made it better would be an outdoor fire pit. You have an amazing place. "

"I loved the layout of the house in general. I slept in the master BR, which I thought was very comfortable and the bathroom is huge and new! The outside area was also VERY cozy with the fire ring and fenced in, large yard where I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffees. I could not stop taking pictures of the leaves! My ONLY suggestion to future renters is that if you arrive after dark it is REALLY DARK up there and trust your GPS....yes, you DO drive across, what appears to be a golf cart path and YES you DO drive across a fairway :) and the gravel road is STEEP. I had NO problem getting up the hill, but I wouldn't want to try it in the winter and DEFINETELY not without a 4 WD truck. Overall, it was great and communication with the host was top notch. 5 STARS for sure! I would definitely go there again."

"We have been coming to West Jefferson for several years now and always enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn Express. Very convenient location and amenities are what we need. Always clean and breakfast is good with healthy options like yogurt and fruit. Coffee service area is very nice to have too ! "

"We were iffy about booking related to mixed reviews but we found our room quite clean and comfortable. I spray everything in our motel rooms down with Lysol anyway , just a habit developed during Covid and do it even when we stay at the Hampton. Spent one night for my birthday, then drove 30 minutes to eat breakfast at Daniel Boone Inn . Location was great with several fast food restaurants, Ingles and a Dollar General walkable if forget any essentials. Will stay again. "

"This home had absolutely everything we needed. Very nice finishing touches , was secluded and the hot tub was perfect. At night we sat on the porch and watched the fire flies and actually saw blue ones. I would highly recommend this property. "

"My husband and stayed here for our anniversary. Our experience was phenomenal. The cabin was private yet 5-10 minutes away from the grocery store and downtown west Jefferson. It rained the first 2 1/2 days of our trip and it didn’t matter it was still perfect. The hot tub gave a front row seat to the breathtaking views. This is definitely one of our favorite locations and will return. "
