"We visited the community of Barr paul on numerous occasions. This is the first time we’ve rented our own private cabin and it was perfect! We spent most of our time in the kitchen, great room and outside on the deck. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked breakfast and lunch throughout the weekend. Beds were comfortable. The owners have really thought about every little detail from body wash to dish soap. We would most definitely rent again thank you Cheryl for being a wonderful host."

"The cabin was just what I expected, beautiful and serene. The driveway up to the cabin was a little unnerving for someone who doesn’t travel to the mountains much but once you get used to it, it wasn’t bad at all. I would have loved to have been able to fish from the floating dock but the water hadn’t quite reached our area yet. My son in law was able to catch some fish in the small pond at the security gate so he was happy. The cabin was well stocked and we were able to easily use the internet. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We loved eating out on the screened in porch. I loved rocking in the rocking chairs and swinging in the swing on the porch also. The host was easy to contact, answered our questions quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon."

"The host was very responsive and very welcoming. The house is nice and open, and had ALL the utensils you would need for the kitchen (which is ALWAYS wonderful). I am a big bird watching person and it was WONDERFUL to be able to hang bird feeders on the porch and watch all the different birds come in. The park is right across the street and the grandkids loved it. Would have liked to see more things about the house, but the weather was SO cold so we could not, but maybe on another trip. The driveway is VERY steep, but it is not a huge issue. We went in the winter so of course the trees were all bare, but I would imagine it is just beautiful in the fall and summer!"

"We loved staying in the neighborhood and enjoying the lake. Very comfortable with everything you need. Easy walk to the lake. The pool in the community wasn’t functional but I’m sure that will be fixed in the future. "
