"This house was amazing! The neighborhood is a little concerning due to the number of car lots in the area but the house made up for it! We felt safe and the hot tub outside was delightful. The kitchen is large and accommodating for several people cooking and eating together and the number of bedrooms was perfect for multiple families. The house was also very clean and cozy with all the extra sheets, towels, and kitchen necessities you would need, including food to make a quick pasta meal if you check in late!"
"This was a great home to stay at in Portland and was in a great location a super short walk to shops and restaurants on Hawthorne. We enjoyed the updated feel of this craftsman home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and confortable. The beds are all slightly differnt softness so you might have to figure out which one is just right for you. We found the living room fun and cosy to hang out and just read on hot afternoons. The Kitchen was overall spacious and functional. We had a bit of a struggle to figure out how the oven worked, and we don’t cook with gas at home so we had to also adjust to that. There are renters in the basement but we barely saw them and never had any issues. The best thing about this house is the location. you can walk to so many great spots, and its a short drive to some of the other main drags. Out teenager wanted to go back to Salt and Straw a few times. We really enjoyed just walking in the surrounding neigborhood and looking at the beautiful homes and gardens. FYI. we were there at the end of spring and had great weather, so all the gardens and plants looked awesome. We would recommend this place if your looking for a comfortable, clean, home to stay at in a great portland neighborhood. "
