This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable.
There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff.
Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!!
The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!

The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location great, just a few minutes walk from the marina and town. Easy on-street parking. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

No kettle in the room, but at certain hours of the day you can get free hot water in the lobby bar. Hotel is fine but we didn’t like the area, it did not feel safe.
