Family gathering

A great place for gathering and hanging out. Not fancy or pretentious. Loved the deck looking out over the countryside, the big kitchen where everyone tends to gather. Lots of good walking options. We managed to sleep 11 but not everyone gets a private room, which worked for us. We were also okay with the one full bathroom but that does require some coordination if you are a big group. The host is great at communicating and very helpful - thanks Jay. Overall a wonderful family sojourn away for the city.

A Welcome Return

We were up to celebrate my Uncle's 90th, right in the neck of the woods where he grew up and worked. Food, festivity, laughter, and walks in the countryside. Incredible.
