The hotel itself was very nice, although was odd that there was no 'front desk' or person to work with upon arrival/departure. Had a parking lot across the street we were able to park in, although we were not told (could only email staff) it wasn't accessible before 6am, and we had a 6:10a flight...so caused a bit of a concern when we went to leave and had to scramble to find someone to assist getting out. Luckily we were able to! Area around the hotel (park in particular) seemed a little 'sketchy' and we were careful not to walk through later in the evenings. Hotel itself was great other than it was too warm. (Kept windows and doors open when we were there). Room had a nice patio to sit out on.

I did not like this hotel. I was not aware there was no lobby and no staff, the description of hotel is clear on that, but wasn't aware there was NO staff in property to help with anything. All is automated. The room was no very clean, felt dusty and found webs between furniture. Stayed for 2 nights, and the room was not cleaned once. The area is not that nice, somewhat sketchy. It is not near to any attraction, but has a metro station very close. In general, i wouldn't recommend this property. Cant review the service, because there was no service given at all, by anyone.

Dear Jose,thank you very much for taking the time to review us.We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us, unfortunately, we cannot fully understand the remark about the service, since we have it written everywhere, that there is noone in this hotel, however you have a help phone in our lobby which you can pick up to be forwarded to one of our employees.Regarding the room not being cleaned, i can see that you used the do not disturbe button inside of the room, this is why our housekeeping did not enter and clean your room.We can also not fully understand the remark about our location, since we are located right next to the central station, there are many sights close to us, such as the Karlsplatz as well as for example the Königsplatz as well as the museum part of munich, these are all within 5 walking minutes from the hotel.Best regardsKING's HOTELsBest regardsKING's HOTELs

Hotel was very good, even had a surprise deck all to myself. The area around the Munich Main Station isn't great, not the fault of the hotel branch though.

The hotel is fine, however hen booking I was lead to believe that there were kitchen facilities in the room so booked, however on arrival the units are locked and you have to pay a further €38 to unlock this facility. This was not clear at the point of booking so misleading.

The property was an easy walk to the train & bus station. A tram stop is less than a block away. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was great except two things: first, we booked the hotel bc we wanted to be close to the train station (we had an afternoon train scheduled) & we read on Expedia that the hotel offered luggage storage. However, there is no front desk at this property so there is no way to store luggage (despite advertising such) so we had to end up carrying our luggage while sightseeing around town. Second, we stayed in a triple room & the double bed was in an alcove that was so small that the sides of the bed touched the walls so we had to crawl up to the top of the bed from the bottom of the bed & the alcove had no light. Triple room may not be appropriate for elderly or those who can’t maneuver well.

The staff were amazing, very helpful! This hotel is in a great location, but one night we had some want to be Italian singers at 2:30am and then again at 4:30am (of course not within the control of the hotel). It is close to the train station and within walking distance to the Duomo. We will definitely stay there again!

This property is self check in, very quick and easy. Their sister hotel is across the street where they always have staff and a bar/restaurant. Building was very secure and our suite was fantatic. It is very clean and well kept!

The check in process was super easy, the room was clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly and attentive The area itself was very close to the main attractions within walking distance as well as walking distance to the hauptbanhoff (the city's main train station) Overall i highly recommend the hotel

Well, this was our first no-person-in-sight hotel and it would have been alright if we weren't so exhausted (and cold). We had to check in ourselves using a tablet at the entrance and took a few tries to activate our keys. And absolutely no one in sigh to help. We managed to get in finally, but I wonder if my mother would be able to in the same situation!

Advastay was a perfectly fine hotel. Check in was easy and the rooms are clean and spacious. However I did find the rooms uncomfortably warm and could not turn down the heater. The area is close to the station which is convenient but not the nicest area, hoeever it is just a short walk or tram ride to the old town. There are many nice cafes, bakeries and restaurants on the same street and there is plenty to do and see nearby.

A week in Munich
You have to go across the street to the main hotel for any type of help. They were very helpful they advertise luggage storage which they were able to accommodate upon arrival utilizing lockers at the host hotel. I was told I would receive an email 72 hours prior to arrival about checking in which I did not receive Hotels.com did speak with the hotel and I received the email 12 hours before check-in, it also stated I should store my luggage at the train station. Since no one man’s a desk in this hotel lobby, it misses a personal touch like figuring out the shower and how to get the room below 16°C. The facility is well-maintained and clean and the effort by the hotel shows while it is fresh, smelling, it doesn’t have the overwhelming odor of chemicals and carpet freshener. Rooms were exceptionally clean daily. it was safe it’s only a few minutes walk from the main train station. The buffet is across the street and €17. I miss the coffee and tea and variety of snacks available in the lobby like the other two facilities. There is a Coke machine in the basement. But cheaper snacks were found in the train station. Yes, the area is safe. Yes I would stay here again.

Trip to Christmas Markets in Munich
The Hotel was a lot of help this week. My original flight was cancelled due to the snow and I arrived a day late. I spoke to Maria who was a big help, she checked me in so I would not lose the second night (the cancelation date had passed). The hotel was around the corner from the metro and central station which is a very short walk. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, would stay there again when I visit Munich in the future.

Really clean, comfy beds and pillows. Shower nice and hot and powerful. Glad that we went for a bigger room with a king size bed. We thought there was a small kitchenette bit but that was locked away behind a cupboard so not sure why we weren’t allowed access to it. The other thing is as the lobby is unmanned there is no storage for luggage, so you will need to store this in the station lockers. Would happily stay here again if we were to return to Munich.

Good location, some significant drawbacks
When our flight to Munich was delayed, we had a hard time contacting the hotel to inform them about our situation and confirm we were still coming. We tried through Hotels.com and received no response. We then called directly, and the individual who answered had no information about current reservations, only future availability. She said she would send our message to her colleagues, but we never heard back. Only after we emailed the property did we receive a response. No one was on property when we checked in to assist with questions. I may have missed this information when booking the hotel, but I did not realize a hotel might not have a reception. Self check in went smoothly. When we reached our room, we had trouble connecting to the wifi. The QR code did not automatically connect us, and there was nothing in the room that provided the password. When using the hotel's phone to call "reception," the woman didn't have the right password. She also said she would have her colleague reach out to us, but they never did. We finally found the right password in the elevator. Convenient location. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, room was a bit cramped but fairly normal for Europe. The room temperature was very warm, and when we lowered the temperature, the air became very stagnant. There was no way to open the windows except as full doors, which we didn't want to leave open at night, so room was too warm for sleep to be comfortable.

Great property- cannot rate staff as it was self check in. Which was easy and fast. Very nice hotel. One concern, the beds have a plastic liner (great for cleanliness) not great for sleeping on - very hot!

Enjoyable stay
Auto self check in with the machine, room is cozy and clean. Free snacks and drinks in the room are really nice, also with a coffee machine. Great location very closed to Hbf. Overall we enjoyed the stay here.

this is a self check in and out hotel. takes more time to do everything myself. The coffee machine filter still has coffee stain. The water i got from the coffee machine taste bad, although the still water in bottle taste normal ( I used the still bottled water to get hot water) The holder for soap has thick layer of soap stain.

Convenient Stay
Hard to say anything about the service because there is no front desk but the terminal was easy to use and relatively quick. Cleaning ladies were friendly and the restaurant attached to the hotel was nice for breakfast. Servers were a bit cold because i was a foreigner but the food was good and came out pretty quick. 20 min walk from the old part of town which wasnt too bad. Area around the hotel seemed safe with lots of dining options. A bit pricey but not outrageous.

The location is great at only 4 minutes away from the train station! It is a nice place with air conditioning. Check in is easy. Our only complaint is the A/C does not effectively cool the room off. We were comfortable in the room but sweating at night, no matter how low we turned it down to.

The good things are ; This hotel is nice 1.Room are large , clean and comfy 2.location is very convinient that close to HBF and walkable to Old town 3.Aminities(self service laundry) is very convenient but the Kitchenette in the room need to pay for it But the things that should be improved is The condition of Luggage storage which is appilcable for check out , If you would like to store the luggage before check in time is impossible The hotel should put in the clearly condition for "Store the luggage"

An excellent and affordable stay in Munich centre
A very comfortable room with good facilities shared with the Kings Hotel across the road. The self-checkin was slightly clunky but the room and its facilities were great, including the welcome cooling.

Whilst the property was located in an ok area and the place itself was fine we have an issue with the availability of the kitchenette in the room. At no stage in the process of booking the room was it clear we needed to pay more to access the kitchenette. It was locked when we arrived and an additional 20 euros per night was required to unlock it. The room was was pricey enough without then having to pay another $100 Australian dollars for the 3 nights. As well, whilst you can say you have a laundry facility in the building please also notify that it also costs money to use it.

If you decide to book the fully equipped kitchen option, this is more expensive than booking without kitchen use.
