It was a quiet cosy place with good breakfast. The attendant Samy was very friendly and helpful though other staff were not as much.

Unfortunately, our room was not available on the day of check in. It was quite stressful to find a new accommodation with a baby in the late evening. After our check in next day, everything went well. The breakfast was tasty and the room was clean.

Highly recommend
Very welcoming, fantastic communication, very helpful when we needed information with regaeds to nearest train station, which bus to catch. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was a good size, clean abd comfortable. I would definitely stay here the next time i visit Munich..... which will hopefully be April 2023 with my husband to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.

Average stay for 7 nights : Ask for Cleanliness
Room cleaning was sub par. No vacuuming and throughout our 7 days no change of sheets. We asked for the change mid week and it wasn’t done. Also poor accommodation with supplies in bathroom. We escalated to the front desk and they said they would speak with the manager. I spoke to the manager after asking multiple times to find they never got out complaint.

Property clean and nice staff. However the AC in the room barely keeps the room cool due to the setting the hotel has it set too. It was uncomfortable in the room to sleep due to the warm.

Just a few blocks from the train station. Aldi's is super close and convenient to get supplies. Bartender makes an amazing mojito!!!

Good hotel. Clean, fresh and comfortable. Right next to S banh and bus to get to anywhere you need as it is quite far from the city centre. Staff were ok, lady at breakfast was quiet grumpy and clearly did not want to be there. Security was a little off, they issues a key for my room without asking for name or ID(to me luckily), and I saw a housekeeper let a man in to his room when his key wasn’t working without asking for ID either. I have worked in hotels previously and that was certainly not allowed. Overall great hotel, was a great hotel for Oktoberfest when other hotels prices were way too high.

Fantastic hotel!
Came to Munich with a group of friends and we all were very satisfied with the quality of the rooms, the staff and willingness to accomedate such a large group, it certainly made our time enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Parking garage was an issue and no sufficient off street parking. Very difficult tight space to get out of the parking garage. Actually ended up doing damage to our rental car because of it. There were lots of scrapes on the pole so know we were not the only ones that had issues. Might want to ADD a warning tight space signage or add some non scratch padding to the poles.

Best hotel experience I have ever had
From the second we walked into the hotel we felt welcome. My friend had left his cell phone in the cab, only speaking English it was hard to communicate with the cab company the lady at the front desk didn’t hesitate and helped us right away. From there the kindness of the staff continued, they made drinks that weren’t even on the menu just for us! Our initial plan was to spend only two nights in Germany but because of the hotel staff we extended our trip! I would not stay anywhere else and will definitely be back!

A nice stay will local transportation routes around the city close by. The restaurant was understaffed in the first night, which caused a few problems. But the rest of the stay the staff were great.

Service should improve, decent hotel for business
I've booked a room at Holiday Inn Munich East twice. The first time they were overbooked and didn't have a room for me. They offered me a room at their Express hotel 50 meters away, but neglected to tell the receptionist over there about it. I had to wait over an hour before I got a room and it didn't appear to be a priority for them. The second time I arrived around midnight. The check-in took over 40 minutes since they wanted to change the 2 bed room I had booked for a 1 bed room, and though I was the only guest in the lobby there were several unrelated things the receptionist had to do before giving me a room. The rooms are great, there's good wifi and breakfast, walking distance to the S-bahn and a 8 minutes bus to the U5.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Efficient check in and check out. Room very comfortable and modern. Good value for money. While the location is okay, it is very industrial and is a little out of the way. Once the location is okay for you, this is a great hotel.

Thing is, I didn't actually stay at the Holiday Inn. They overbooked and asked me to stay at the adjacent Holiday Inn Express. I somewhat regret accepting it because it's a lower quality hotel and they didn't give me the same kind of room I booked.

We tried to give you the same or a higher room cathegorie as you had booked and benefits like free Breakfast, free parking for the whole stay and a free drink for the bar. It is correct that the hotelcathegorie you move to have 3-Stars and we have 4-Stars. What we can say is that the building is built together. The Guest in both houses can use the Restaurant, Bar, Minigym and the Rooftopbar. Of course it is not an execuse for what happend and its a pity for us to hear you regret your decision.
