We had to stay at Hotel Alter Wirt at the last minute due to flight delays, and the staff was very accommodating with checking us in and doing some laundry. Additionally, the morning breakfast had the best eggs and coffee we had during our trip to Germany.

Alter Wirt is a charming boutique-size hotel in Galdach, a rural town near Munich Airport. It is modern, clean, and well-run by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and offers a wonderful, fresh breakfast for those in a hurry. My family has stayed there on numerous occasions in the 30 years since it opened and it remains an easy recommendation for a good place to stay close by the Munich Airport for early morning flights.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, with several options available to choose from. We will definitely stay here again, if we have the chance.
