Loved the close proximity to metro/train services. Downstairs lobby area was also very social and comfortable to just chill with good quality WiFi. Front desk staff were generally very warm, except the guy checking me in who seemed entirely inefficient and disinterested (he had the flu so may be that). If persons are queued waiting, suggestion could be to multitask if persons need a few mins to fill paperwork. e.g Asking the persons behind to fill theirs paperwork while in line, copying their passport etc. Shower, beds and floors were maintained pristine clean. Beds though were very creaky with no privacy partitions/curtains. Further, there were no usb or power outlets near the beds which should be improved.

Got the job done, great lobby area, football was on, good beer, and very close to REWE grocery store and Hauptbahnhof as well as many other restaurants and shopping centers and also Marienplatz and many other places were close. And also Oktoberfest was very close also

Standard rooms with decent beds. Would have preferred lockers that didn’t require renting a lock but felt safe with the smaller group and a locked suitcase. Great bar with cheap beer and a nice affordable breakfast offering.

Staying in Munich during Oktoberfest was incredibly busy, was able to book here and book a private room. Rooms and bathrooms are small which was fine for our needs, downtown was a bit sketchy and there were quite a few peddlers on nearby streets but very centrally located. We were also able to drop off our bags at the lockers which was handy but no option to check in early at all which was a bit inconvenient.

The room was fine, but the air conditioning didn’t work well. The fire alarm also went off every night at 12:30 AM. There was no apologies for the issues with the alarms or the air conditioning.

Literally right by the main station, so you can get places easily. Wasn't overly loud for being so close to the train station and in a busy area. The facility is nice and clean. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely stay here again!

침대 소음이 조금 있는 편이고, 높이가 낮아서 1층 침대에서 앉아있기가 불편합니다. 리셉션의 처리 속도가 빠르지 않아서 오래 기다릴 때가 종종있었습니다. 주변의 호스텔에 비해 가격대가 약간 더 높은데, 가격만큼 더 좋은 것 같지는 않습니다.

The room was decent. The main issue was the extremely slow elevator. And that I understand to some extent, but in the morning when we were ready to check out the elevator never came to pick us up form the top floor so I had to carry our luggage down 5 flights of stair and then I run into the elevator opening with the laundry worker carrying linens to each floor. I just believe that could have been done at a different less busy hour since there is only 1 elevator. Otherwise the hotel is very close to the train station and has a nice lobby to sit in.

Okay this is a great property for youth traveling and wanting to stay in an old part of Munich. I want to establish that it was clean and the staff were excellent and friendly. I just want family travelers to know a little more before booking. Our room for 4, was very small and had 2 pairs of bunkbeds that can also be used in a hostel-style rental. There is a table jammed in-between the two bunkbeds and 2 or 3 chairs. Maybe there is 6 feet between the two beds. That's your room. You have to rent towels. The shower had issues with flooding. The lighting was very poor - the light over the door worked for a minute or two then cut out. The climate control was excellent and was a welcome relief from our no-air option in Cologne. There is no parking - but they do have space in the parkade across the street for 12EURO per night. You should try and find out where it is beforehand so you don't have to circle the block and dump your wife out to ask. Best to train or bus here. The neighbourhood is a little dicey but it is central.

Unexpected but nice!
Jaeger’s is currently closed and unfortunately I didn’t find this out u til after I went to the property, however, it wasn’t difficult to walk around the corner to where they moved my reservation. This hotel was equally comfortable from the description. Room was pretty basic but nice. I was a little concerned with the neighborhood but I didn’t have any issues. Very convenient to the HBF. And not far from city center.

Great staff. Disappointing facility
The hostel staff was very nice and professional. Very knowledgeable about the city. However, the facility itself was disappointing. There is no kitchen available, so people have to ask the bartender for hot water, the microwave, plates, and utensils. The bedroom did not have large lockers for your bags. They did have small lockers for your essentials.

Its value for money as its quite cheap. The surrounding is good near to public transport ( 2 - 3 minutes by walking) ie tram station & train station. However the room was quite small. no space to put luggagge ( locker was small). Bunk bed was not very comfy, small even to lift up your head.

Overall great hostel- except for the shower!
A great hostel! Stayed with myself and three friends in a four bed room and it was wonderful. Only downside of the room was the shower. It turns off every 15 seconds and you must push the button to turn it back on. Also the water was either scalding hot or not hot enough. Bar is great— bartender was even better! Big shoutout to him. Very kind and entertaining. Breakfast was good. The buns were amazing. Overall great hostel. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a place close to the city center. Everything is within a ten minute walk.
