Loved the Motel One Munchen-Olympia
The Motel One Munchen-Olympia Gate is a awesome place to stay while visiting Munich. The front desk clerks are second to none. They are willing to assist you with any requests - big or small. The Motel One is situation just 15 steps from the Tram which give you easy access to attractions or the U-Bahn. There are lots of good restaurants close to Motel One. The Olympic Park is within walking distance -- if you go to the Olympic Tower on your birthday - it's free. The housekeeping was great too!

Pricey for the smallest room they gave us.
It is a minimalist approach to hotels, so you don’t get much cupboard space if you stay for 4 nights and need to unpack everything, and you are two adults. But the rooms are clean, comfortable, and the shampoo and hand wash organic. The window opens up like a patio door which was nice. We were on the 6th floor so enjoyed the sunset views from our teeny, tiny room. It’s a bit pricey for what I would normally pay for a room of this caliber, but the location suited us, which was why we settled for its price. So, unless it’s location is what you’re after, it’s not worth the price.

Good room - just know what to expect
Motel One's have a very specific setup - a great lobby/bar/social area and serviceable rooms for a very decent price. The room is not the Ritz, but it is not designed to be. If you want a room you can lounge in all day, find something else. But if you want a clean comfortable room for the night and then hit the city during the day, this is it.

Modern, clean stay
Our stay at Motel One was great! The receptionists all spoke English very well, so check-in and questions were very easy. The breakfast was a bit over-priced, but it had a nice selection and was convenient as we were at the hotel over Easter Monday, when nearly all of Munich was closed. The room was a tad small, but it was very modern with updated facilities. The location was close enough to the City Center to walk in the daytime, if you have the time, but I'd take a taxi or public transport in the evening. There are a variety of great restaurants about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Modern and Chic
The rooms are small, but efficient, modern, clean, and cool. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is small but the shower is nice and the soaps smell good. The lobby and common areas are cute and chic. The bar offers great drinks, friendly bartenders. The breakfast (9 euros or so) is a nice European breakfast spread. And there is parking for approx. 9 euros per day with in/out privileges. The location is great for accessing the Olympic park, hall/stadium, etc. and about a 15 minute walk to a subway station. Not too much going on in the area right around the hotel but there are nice restaurants within a short walk (including across and down the street).

Small room but all that was needed was there. Extremely clean and great bathroom and shower. Requires a Bus + S to go to town but very doable. Staff very helpful and nice. Would use it again.

Beautiful hotel which is very modern and well kept. The hotel is 15 minutes from Marienplatz. The rooms are small but for the purpose of a city break they are ideal.

It's a lovely hotel, modern and clean with great facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a good selection at breakfast and the local area is quite convenient for city centre and shops. A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny. I would definitely stay there again. Bravo!!

Modern, clean and spacious room -- a mini fridge and access to nearby local gyms would make it better. Convenient location next to bus/tram stop, if you are comfortable navigating Munich's excellent public transportation. Service was quite accommodating.

My new favorite hotel in Munich!
Very nice and new (2 years) design hotel not so far away from the city center with excellent public transportation connections. Friendly staff. Room was small but clean with great bed, shower, WIFI, and flat panel TV. Cosy bar with a nice selection of food and drinks. Across the street is a nice Italian restaurant, bakery and supermarket. Close to Olympic facilities. Great value for money. Cheap parking in hotel garage. Pets allowed. I will book again next time I go to Munich.

For someone who travels frequently, I love that MotelOne has pared down the hotel experience to simply the things we truly need...an EXCELLENT and comfortable bed, with good pillows, USB charging stations next to the bed, and a modern bathroom. Nothing else...no silly little bottles of "stuff" that no one really uses. For me, the only thing I could say would be an improvement would be to have a little Nespresso machine in the room for that first cup of coffee in pjs, and that they provide a REAL glass drinking glass. The plastic shrink-wrapped one was the only let down here. Bar and communal areas offer options for everyone. This is my new go-to hotel for Europe.

Clean and simple, near good trams
Very easy to find, just a few stops from the city centre on steam on bus. Few English language TV channels (BBC World Service not working) but nice organic toiletries. There was no kettle in the room but a decent cafe over the road.

Ok. Small room with twin comforters for king beds
It was fine. A new hotel on a new street. King size bed in a small room- but interestingly, the comforter was for a twin bed. My booking was for a single; maybe this is how the hotel enforces that policy?

Latest MotelOne hotel in Munch. Fresh and clean
Great staff. Very helpful. One downside far from center. But accessible with tram and subway. Nothing walking range distance.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Check in ging super schnell. Das Zimmer war ausreichend und sauber , das Frühstück fand ich sehr reichhaltig und die Auswahl war groß….ich war voll zufrieden, von meiner Seite aus eine klare weiter Empfehlung .
