The hotel was nice, but outside the main part of the city, so couldn’t really just step out and see or do much. But, that being said, we were right beside the bus and train station, so very convenient.

First, I want to say that the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was OK for 15 euro but walk a block outside the hotel and try other things too. It was clean and efficient if a little too small for me, but for 3 days, it was fine. The stairs can be daunting. There is no A/C but it was Sept and not too bad since the window opened. Just for information the closest metro is Rokin about 150 meters away. Use that to go to and from Amsterdam centraal. Quick, easy tap in tap out. Now the minus's The coffee maker in my room didn't work, the shower drain drained very slowly so there was water all over the bathroom floor when I showered. Could have used fresh towels every day. Not much space in the bath room for toiletries. Otherwise, liked it!

Older hotel, but nostalgic. Great location, walkable to shops and sites. Room 11 wasn’t huge, but does it need to be? We were not there for the hotel other than to sleep - and the bed was comfortable. We had a canal view. You do hear the partiers across the canal at a tavern. And apparently other people staying in the hotel didn’t think it was disrespectful to let their room door slam. Friendly keeper. I would stay again.
