Municipality of Tiel Holidays

I was worried about my windowless room but it was surprisingly undepressing. Staff were great. Cafe was great, although they were about to change the food menu so i can’t vouch for it now. Location is pretty walkable, but it depends on what you want to be close to. I loved that there were bikes for rent right at the hotel.

Perfect place to stay, convenient location, 15 min walk from a direct tram (number 4) to centraal station. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless. Hotel bar is beautiful and cozy. Reception area lovely. Staff there were always incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The room (Deluxe) was huge, well placed mirrors, wardrobe size was great, shower was always good, bed was GIANT, with soft sheets and a comfy mattress. TV was in a great spot so was always comfortable to watch. Limited options for the TV of what to watch unless renting a film (roughly £10 each). The spa area was amazing. It was so clean, and well maintained. We were fortunate enough to experience the spa hut to ourselves my partner and I. The spa shuts at 10pm so a late night spa trip was the way to go. We would get what felt like private use of the pool, sauna and steam room and a little shower before leaving! Just all round a 5 star hotel and I couldn’t have been more grateful to have the opportunity to stay here, it allowed for me and my partner to have the best anniversary we could’ve asked for. Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam, right next to Leidseplein, few mins from Rijksmuseum, canal tours, easy walk to Vondelpark, inner canal ring, Anne Frank House etc. Close to many bars and eateries/restaurants. Trams stop just outside. Good choice foods at breakfast (buffet only, not cooked to order). We ate elsewhere in the evening, so can't comment on dinner. Nice clean room, large shower, comfy bed and pillows.

Breakfast was available with lots of choices. Rating hotel five stars seems a stretch. Main elevator broke down room layout presented tight fit getting out of bed. Facility was clean. Wellness spa was not crowded and seemed clean. Menu could be expanded but food was very good. Location near train station but with luggage more of a taxi ride.

Very clean, modern, and welcoming. In room coffee machine was great they cleaned our room every day
