Great view of Munising bay, especially for sunsets, with a variety of seating choices, with grills available. The staff is very helpful and 24 hour desk service. Just down the street from Munising falls and a short drive to Picture Rocks cruises.

This motel is not fancy, but it is clean, comfortable & the staff are wonderful! We had a lot of questions & they were patient & so helpful! They went above and beyond when we left an item behind to make sure we get it back. On top of it, the views in the back are beautiful!

I really liked this place. It is right on the lake with a balcony with seating (weather permitting!). The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was yummy. close to Foggy's which I have been wanting to try. Nothing super fancy here. but clean and comfortable. Can't beat the view!!!

Great location, disappointing rooms
The Beach Inn is on the Superior Lakeshore, with an lovely extensive lawn. Multiple groupings of chairs and benches let guests enjoy the view. Exterior of the motel looks good with nice hanging baskets of flowers. Troy checked us in and was very helpful. The rooms are clean, but they are in poor condition. The bed is a single mattress with a cover that comes off with the slightest movement. It is uncomfortable. Breakfast is meh. Not worth $200 /night.

A charming motel in a beautiful place.
Beautiful setting, nice people, well maintained property. The building is designed in such a way that plumbing noises from adjacent rooms are very loud. But we've found that in several properties on this trip.

Worst to stay so far
Very not worth the price of $200+ a night. The place and sheets smelled dust. The aircon vent blows off next to your face and is so loud. I did not sleep well in this place. Parking lot and hallways do not have enough lighting. My first and last for this place.

The location was wonderful. Lake Suoerior was literally outside your door. Saw a sky full of stars AND the northern lights! Owners were extremely cordial and accommodating.

Munising magic
Lovely hotel with spacious rooms. The view is awesome. Very clean and friendly staff. Nice patio space with grills and space to watch the view. Was so close to the dock for pictured rocks tours.

Labeled handicapped accessible but no grab bars in shower or appropriate height toilet and no grab bars either. Room not in good repair. Cracked paint and drywall around shower and over all musty room and ac. Staff was great but the price was too high for the quality of the room.

Location, Location, Location
This was our second stay there. The location is great. It has a nice outdoor area with a nice view, day or night. We got to see the northern lights one night. It's not far from either the town or the beach and is on a bike trail. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean, and although it is dog friendly, I didn't see any evidence in the room of previous dog occupancy and the lawn was clean. All that being said, it is a more of a motel and not a hotel experience, which is implied by the name, although it's a bit pricey. But again, location, location, location. The breakfast is basic, which is fine, except that unfortunately, it did not include any low carb options. In the rooms, I'd suggest to the administration to provide more outlets (such as those built in to night tables) for charging devices, and to replace the towels with new, fluffy ones.
