"It's a little bit tired to be honest. The room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. But, the towel rail did not work and the heating system was a bit iffy, so getting the right temperature was a bit of a trial; and the first day was pretty chilly. The bathroom was odd as it was designed like a wet room, but the water did not like to drain into the shower area, so feet got wet every time I went into the bathroom - the water just laying there. "Many things are very good. The location is near the river at Port d’Envaux Communication in English is a little difficult. We ended up with a large saucepan of hot milk to make our morning tea!"

"Friendly and helpful check in staff. Nice ground floor room which was good as we have a dog Nice looking building with a car park. Grass area around the hotel car park needs tidying up. Did not use the bar or restaurant, but looked very nice"
