"A great view of the lake was a wonderful plus. Our room was on the third floor, which made our view spectacular, but there are no elevators. We saw this in three of the hotels we stayed in on this trip. This is an interestingly designed hotel with much potential. But it needs some TLC."

"We stayed in a cabin. Older property, but well maintained. Shower was small, but good hot water and water pressure. Well stocked with coffee. Great location next to a state park. Surprisingly quiet given how close the property is to the highway."

"Our room was very nice and appeared to be recently updated. This is a “self service” kind of place so there is no maid service during your stay. There is a number you can call if you need anything. It is a great location right across from the harbor so you can walk to everything in downtown Grand Marias. I would request a second floor room next time for better views of the harbor."

"The accommodations were better than expected. The kitchen was well-stocked and convenient. The views of Lake Superior were breathtaking. The geographic location was perfect for many nearby activities. The host provided suggestions for dinner and shopping in surrounding communities. The Frank Lloyd Wright architectural influences enhanced our stay. We look forward to another time away in the near future, possibly a winter excursion,"
