"We stayed in a two bedroom cabin at the top of the site. The cabin was very well equipped and only laundry facilities were absent compared to other cabins we stayed in this holiday. However both the style and the equipment in the cabin were more modern and in better condition than the other cabins.
The site is well located and well maintained. The staff were both friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to return here. "
"Sadly the bathroom badly needs a renovation- it is very small - & very outdated, cold & draughty - a shower curtain certainly doesn't add to the amenities.
Sign at reception said open from 7.30am to 9.00pm, but on checking out at 9.45am the door was locked. There was a box for key returns, but we were going to return the $10 note found in the garden next to our car - but no-one to give it to unfortunately. "
"This was the perfect getaway for us; our dog was able to run around safely, and we had time to chill watching the sunset at the lake. The Bellbirds added extra magic to the place. Beds are super comfortable, great shower and we found all the items we needed in the kitchen. Communication with our host was also perfect! We are very grateful for finding this gem and it is affordable, too!Highly recommend it! Regina Neil - April 2026"
"It was fine. Just a bit dirty. Coffee tablehad sticky stuff all over it. Couch very stained. Furniture weathered, but easy access and prettycomfortable. Nice to have our our 2 bedroomcabin. Good location. Not too noisy"
"We rented a standard cabin that is in need of a complete update. Terrible bed that was 10 years overdue in updating. Bare minimum untensils in kitchen. No flipper or tongs for bbq, teflon frypan was scratched. Placed right next to pub, with minimal privacy. Vehicle towing boats leaving at 330am onwards, along gravel road, waking us up every morning. Was not a peaceful stay

Cosy mud brick cottage in a serene bush setting, near Tathra.
10/10 Excellent
"This was such a wonderful stay - the house is equipped with everything you need, it's cosy and comfortable, super clean, spacious and has wonderful views of nature all round. The beds are comfy and the living area is pleasant and comfortable. There are games and puzzles to play when you're not spending time watching wildlife or enjoying the outdoor pit fire amongst the trees under the stars. The owners are wonderful, caring and knowledgeable people, ready to help with any query. Cannot wait to make another visit and enjoy my morning tea watching wallabies and honeyeaters pass by."
