Rooms were a bit dated, but comfortable. I understand they make a lot of money on day guests, but definitely impacted the sense of peace. Much calmer and relaxed after day guests left. The craft cocktails at Gunther’s were amazing and the two ladies that were bartending were the absolute stand outs of our stay.

The staff was great. The property was great. The amenities were amazing. The food was good. But we had the door tag to clean our room out for 3 days straight and we didn’t get it cleaned. We had to call down for fresh towels and toilet paper. Which they brought promptly. Wish they would cleaned our room at least once during our 5 day stay.

Great resort with several amenities and lot of space to walk. A central lake very relaxing to observe. The staff was taking take care you have a great temperature in the hot springs. It was great and cozy at night. Hot springs are open all day. We stayed at the lakeside lodge and it was in general a very relaxing experience. I will definately go back.

Welcoming Staff, Great Food, and a Room Choice Worth Knowing About The staff across the entire property were a highlight, check-in was smooth and the food service teams at Guenther’s Lounge, Brew 1902, CafĂ© Azuli, and The Tortoise Shell were all attentive and friendly. Breakfast at Brew 1902 was excellent, and The Tortoise Shell kept drinks moving quickly without having to flag anyone down. The bunk bed room was comfortable, but a practical note for future guests: Murrieta Hot Springs welcomes families, which is great, just know that if you’re booking for a quiet, restorative getaway, the bunk bed rooms may not be your best fit. Opt for a different room type if a peaceful retreat is the goal. Would stay again, the service alone makes it worth it.
