Waited 30 minutes to get a room. Got a room and there were people in it. Got another room and it was poorly cleaned. Location was nice and worked well for my buddy and I just in the area for the night but I would not take my family here. Or anyone I even liked a little bit. It was a very funny experience to me but I would not recommend it to… anybody.

Almost beach front property with value

Beautiful beach area, in a neighborhood that is safe and only minutes drive to San Clemente Pier, hotel is close to water so you will have some wet walls and humidity but it's a safe clean well priced property, will stay again, plenty of on and off-site parking and very quiet, check in staff was amazing and welcoming

The staff and workers at oceana are absolutely terrific and are all good people. The property is amazing, and i extremely like the remodels of the rooms. Every one here is sweet and kind, and i highly recommended the hotel to anyone new to the area!

The staff was amazing the price for Southern California close to the beach was amazing. The rooms have some wear, but were clean. The staff is professional and helpful. You want fancy go pay 300+ for the Hilton. You want comfort with budget come here. Expedia made this whole weekend stay so simple and stress free. 10/10 would recommend.

We booked a Queen room but it was a full bed. There was one thin beach towel in the room and every time I went to the office after check in no one was available. The shower door was broke. We luckily brought many beach towels. I asked about the bed and was told it was a queen but on other booking sites it does list the rooms with full beds. The location was great. The property was quiet and conveniently located.

The property was definitely outdated, but the area and staff make up for it. I’d recommend bringing your own/extra towels as we only had 2 beach towels in the room for showering/personal use. I’d also recommend bringing an extension cord as there was literally only 1 outlet in the entire room. Parking was free and easy, and I liked that we also had close access to the freeway, beach, and restaurants.

The actual roon was decent kind of rusty, like any beach motel. Decorated like someone grandmas place. The thing that was disappointing was when I selected the garden veiw just to find out it's the same as a regular room. I paid extra money!for a garden veiw room. I would have had if I just went with the basic room. I know it was only few bux but thats kind of a bait and switch when selecting a room just go with the basic room because its the same room layout and location you get if you choose the "garden View". The staff was super nice. Its a good budget motel. I would recommend and stay again.
