"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "Excellent stay, the bathroom was fabulous with a very enjoyable bath- loved the toilet too. The room is tiny but functional. It was well equipped for a few nights in Tokyo. The view was great and the hotel is extremely central with everything on your doorstep. "
"Stayed three nights as a family of three. Perfect location (direct Narita airport shuttle), great breakfast, awesome staff service. Room is small, typical in Tokyo. "
"I had a very pleasant stay at HOTEL emisia Tokyo Tachikawa. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and communication was smooth thanks to a translator device the staff had available. The staff were also very helpful in assisting with onsite parking.
The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice mix of traditional Japanese options as well as a good selection of items for international guests. Overall, a well-run hotel with great service, and I would gladly stay here again."
"Had a great stay, room was a good size (bed was a bit small for 2 people)location was nice 20 min walk to central Shinjuku and quick access to metro. Narita express bus was a 5 min walk to catch back to the airport which was nice. "
"Room was small but cheerful and stylish. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is fantastic — a bit further out but tons of cute shops and cafes and bustling with activity. Loved our stay. "
"I stayed 10 nights here, honestly the room is pretty bare bones but we were just using it as a place to sleep and keep our stuff. Room was clean and had all our necessities private bath (make sure you book a room with one if needed), microwave and stove top and storage space. A short walk away from Nakai Station is a huge plus the area is quite and the SS line is much less busy than some others. 2 station ride gets you to Takadanobaba Station were you can pretty much get anywhere from. Staff were super helpful and kind and ready to get anything to help your stay. If your looking for a place to rest your head in Tokyo I can recommend here."
