"The facilities were very good, the bed comfortable, the shower pressure lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. Quality of food at breakfast was good, as was the coffee. Good pool facilities and the resort was very clean. It had beautiful beaches and is very family friendly. My kids had a great time."

"We have just got back from our stay at The Modern House and we couldn't have asked for more. Paolo, Clelia and Maia were excellent hosts!Communication from Paolo before our visit was great with directions from the airport.When we were arrived we were warmly greeted by Paolo, Clelia and Maia who showed us around the house. The house is amazing and had everything we could possibly need for our trip. My daughter described it as a dream house!Our hosts had kindly prepared some fresh snacks for both adults and children, which was so delicious and most welcomed after a day of travel. They also left us some drinks. On our first full day we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and Maia kindly came to our rescue and let us back in - sorry and thank you again for helping us!Our children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and it was great when trying to cool down from the heat.The views from the house and garden are fantastic. The beach is a very short walk away as well as a couple of restaurants. There are a few supermarkets a short drive away as well as places of interest to visit.Overall we had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation certainly was a huge part of it. Would certainly recommend. Thank you again Paolo, Clelia and Maia :-)"

"Great large property, in a charming local town. It’s awesome resort for families with lots of activities/entertainment like paddling boating, floats, beach toys, sailing, boat rentals etc. The property is large & uphill, rooms a located on the hill, you get your steps in. The staff is always riding around in carts and you can catch a ride if that’s an issue. The rooms were large and clean, with a great view."

"This hotel is a good choice for budget travelers wanting to explore Cost Smeralda. It is less than 1 hour drive from all surrounding area, which made it convenient. The property had its glory days but is now a bit worn down in need of modern upgrades. It is a large property, with free parking, nice pool, playground, soccer field, great for families. The room were spotless. They need updates but were clean, AC worked well & we slept comfortably. Included breakfast was also good. Overall, we had a good stay. They staff was courteous & we enjoyed our time there."

"We stayed in a cottage, which was situated in a good location, close to tne beach. This resort is off a rugged but beautiful stretch of coast. The resort is beautiful, plenty of nature all around. It’s spread out over a hilly site, but has a free electric golf buggy service to get you about. There resort also offers a good mixture of swimming pools and cash bars. The entertainment on offer was good if you wanted it. We did an excellent excursion by boat along the coast as far a Cala Luna. Some of these beaches are stunning. We snorkelled every day and saw a good variety of fish. It’s a really nice resort and the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"What can I say but the words utter perfection. The grounds are peaceful and serene with a wonderful swimming pool and a very tasty restaurant. The owner is very gracious and friendly. It was very kind of my two dogs. She built this place herself and it is a marvelous achievement. I will be back."
