"Our stay at Club Esse Sporting was disappointing. We got back both nights after 9PM, so there was no point complaining, but we found dirty sheets on arrival. Thankfully, the cleaning ladies noticed and changed them the next day. There were plumbing issues. The toilet didn’t flush, there was a bad smell, and all the water went into the shower. Breakfast was confusing. Nobody told us you can’t just sit anywhere, so we got yelled at in front of everyone for choosing the wrong table. Four coffee...

"Leider war die Zufahrt von 2Seiten gesperrt, so dass teure Telefonate geführt werden mussten. Eine sehr freundliche Angestellte holte uns per Auto ab und schob alle Absperrgitter beiseite! Die Zimmervergabe war sehr sehr langsam, im Zweierzimmer erhielten wir ein upgrade (danke), die vier Personen mussten mindestens eine Viertelstunde warten, um mitsamt Koffern wieder zurück in einen älteren Teil des Hotels an der obern Strasse das Zimmer zu beziehen! "The main areas are renovated nicely and are clean. The rooms are dated and dingy. The beach umbrellas are expensive, and for 70 euros the selection shouldn’t be limited to the trashy section near the boat dock. Food was great, and the cost of dinner was reasonable. It would be more convenient to allow the bar in the hotel to bill directly to the room so that guests don’t have to carry their wallet. The staff are all lovely. "

"A gem of a room, we loved staying here. The owners were so helpful. Great communication with directions, help with trains etc. Lovely furnished room, good quality tolietries, with a small samples from a local small business. Would recommend 100%, nothing to fault. "
