"I was first placed in a dirty room but they were very quick and efficient to move me which was great b/c I don’t like first floor rooms. In my second room on 2nd floor the window lock was broken so I couldn’t lock it. Uncomfortable but being in 2nd floor helped. Clock in the room nor working or unplugged?? Just used my fon for the clock. Breakfast area very clean and orderly and good. Parking lot had potholes but they were there fixing them today. Staff VERY friendly!!! "

"ROCK HARD BEDS, COULDN'T SLEEP, FILTHY, STAINED TOWELS, NO BLANKETS ON BEDS, RUN DOWN, TERRIBLE VALUE. They have let this place go to have more $$ in their pockets. So sad. I stayed 8.5 years ago and it was nice."

"My husband and I stayed at Maple Tree Cabin with our two children (ages 4 and 1) while visiting family friends nearby. The home itself was sparkling clean and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the thoughtful amenities! Perfect location for families - our 4 year old son LOVED the air hockey table upstairs, and we had quite a bit of fun with all of the boardgames. Everything was 10/10 - highly recommend this cozy, private and picturesque location for anyone traveling through the area. Communication with the host was also A -- thank you so much, Gardner! "

"This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! It is quiet, but in easy driving distance to the town of Chester, and is decorated in a tasteful and fun way. The kitchen is well appointed, bedding comfortable, and the location is great - with access to the lake beach included. The host was very responsive and pleasant in all communications. We highly recommend this lovely property!"

"The owners are very nice and helpful. The room was clean, the sheets and towels are good quality and were clean as well. There were more than enough pillows and blankets. There is a small table and 2 chairs to sit and look out the window. The bathroom is good size. The water pressure is good, with plenty of hot water. The floor is tiled, so it is very cold on bare feet. There is no breakfast, but they will get you bottled water if you ask. The parking is well lit. You can hear the traffic from the highway, especially the trucks. I like the sound. If sound bothers you, you, may want to bring ear plugs. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay. I have been coming here for years."
