"Stunning villa with everything we needed and superb views. Everything worked and we had all we need to include a baby. The washing line needs repair. It would have been helpful to be given advice that it is quite intimidating driving up to the villa from Bagni di Lucca, and that we should only rent a very small vehicle. The Australians and Americans in our group really struggled with the road and the access to the villa itself. "

"We left a big piece of our collective hearts in Treppignana! The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and be sure to rent a narrow, sturdy vehicle. Overall a 10/10 unforgettable experience. "

"Absolutely stunning place, as others have said, the pictures don't even capture the beauty of the view, the house and the property. Quite possibly the most beautiful setting I have ever seen. My wife was so inspired by the place that she drew a painting describing the area. On top of that, Marco is a fantastic host, very communicative, kind and very helpful, was always of there was anything. Finally, there are so many beautiful sites and restaurants nearby.
