"The only reason I gave 3 stars on a few things is because we were only there for 1 night and didn’t get to partake in the amenities they offered. Hope to stay there again for a longer stay next time"

"We enjoyed our two day stay at the Wildcat Inn. The back garden is lovely and the furnishings are really interesting. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was inconsistent. Our first night my husband's beef tips dinner was delicious, while my French Dip sandwich was not good. The meat was so thinly shaved that it was dry and crunchy. The following night my husband ordered a salad that he enjoyed, but my medium rare burger arrived raw in the middle. The waitress took it back and said that they couldn't just put it on a while more, but had to start over. When the burger arrived my husband was completely finish with his meal and the burger was still not medium rare; it was completely brown inside. When we could find them, some of the staff was warm and helpful. The problem was that we rarely saw staff and there was no way to indicate that we needed help. There was an ice bucket in the room, but no instructions as to get ice. Lastly, the sheets in room 3 need to be replaced. They were so pilled that as I was trying to fall asleep all I was aware of was the feeling of the pilled sheets. Over all, it was an okay experience, but correcting some of the afore mentioned items would really improve it."

"The staff are very helpful. The place is clean and neat. It is decorated for fall & Halloween. Breakfast is basic with plenty of teas, cocoa & coffee. We were looking for a place to sleep, near where we were spending the weekend. This worked well."

"The staff was helpful and offered to let me check the room before accepting it. The room and bathroom were very clean. I was there for one night. I didn’t get a chance to use the amenities, but the tennis courts and pool looks nice. There was also several barbecues along the river and a large fire pit. The continental breakfast was fine. There was scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, and fruit. I have no complaints. I would stay again."

"We Entered as Guests and Truly Left as Friends The Inn at Jackson was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the inn felt warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. JP, the innkeeper, was friendly, helpful, and always ready with great advice. Owner Anthony welcomed us personally and gave us a grand tour of this magnificent historic inn, sharing its history, unique features, and his best recommendations for things to see and do around Jackson. Our room was beautiful, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the jetted tub was amazing after a full day of hiking. The gathering spaces are rich, warm, and homey, with the kind of character that cannot be manufactured. Breakfast was homemade and excellent. We enjoyed French toast, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, and perfectly prepared omelets. It was clear that real care went into every detail. The location is also ideal. You can easily walk into Jackson while still enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the inn. Their motto is, “Enter as our guest…leave as our friend.” That is not just a slogan. It perfectly describes our experience. Anthony and JP made us feel instantly at home, and we would absolutely stay here again."

"This was my first time using VRBO and after such a positive experience I will certainly be using it again! First of all the communication, attentiveness and overall availability of the hosts were first rate and set the tone for what became a wonderful end of summer vacation for my family. They have thought of literally every possible need, or forgotten item, imaginable; from board games to flashlights to swim shoes to entertainment systems - whatever you need or may have forgotten to pack they have it! The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. And the view is lovely! The house is close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel like we really got away from our busy lives. My kids loved having the river so close and got to do some fun exploring. Huge kitchen with everything needed to cook all our meals as well as being able to use the grill. Fire pit has chairs and host provided website and clear instructions for how to obtain fire burning permit. The home is huge, inviting, cozy, and so much space that even if 2 large families shared the home it would not feel crowded. My only constructive feedback would be that while the home is very clean on the surface there were a lot of cobwebs hanging from light fixtures, windows, and corners of the rooms. Also, the air conditioners were in need of cleaning and there were many gaps where bugs easily came thru. Other than those minor things this was a perfect experience. Cant wait to go back to this home away from home!"
