"First - these folks are so nice, and the location right outside the Great Sand Dunes National Park can't be beat. The full fridge and freezer worked well, and the mini kitchenette would be nice if we stayed longer (my roomie noticed skillets, no saucepan, and one knife, so limited equipment). We had issues with noise, however. One can hear everything through the walls. When you have a family next door that can't use their inside voices, forget about sleep. The heater didn't work well, either, and we woke up freezing. Still - location, location, location."

"Excellent communication with host. Slight issue resolved the same day, which is always a plus. Make sure to stay up and view the night sky- it is amazing and humbling to realize how many stars are missed living in a big city. Sheets were incredibly soft and comfortable, nice water pressure in the shower, and 2 wood burning stoves (not used, but still cool!)Would definitely recommend!"

"Wonderful property and beautiful home! Was so cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend, but it was a much further drive to the sand dunes than we had thought when booking. It was an hour drive to Sand Dunes national park entrance."
