"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

From the private pool to the high-end finish out of the houses, it is just stunning. The kitchen is so well stocked to make anything. "A lovely traditional house in a typical Cretan village away from the tourist hotspots. Our host spoke good English and was very welcoming and helpful. The bakery sells wonderful trays of Baklava which we enjoyed on our spacious roof terrace, a great place for breakfast too. "

"Evva was really friendly and helpful, and our accommodation was spacious and comfortable.
We didn't like the fact that the shower was handheld only.
Also, the villa is located at the stop of a very steep hill, so although the town enter is not far away, it's not the easiest walk."

"We changed our flights around to stay an extra night. Views are amazing. Episkopi is a tiny town but has the essentials just a couple minutes away. Listing said 3 bathrooms but apparently one is outdoors and shut off for the winter. Also the heating was not the best"
