"We just spent a fabulous week at the Carlisle. My husband, two children and I stayed in a double queen standard room and it was the most spacious, comfortable and clean area one could imagine. The property was beautiful with many quilt designs (as it is Amish) and kept in immaculate condition. They offered the most delicious home baked cookies from their restaurant everyday at 4 pm. Front desk and maintenance staff were extremely friendly, helpful, informative and courteous. A plus for hospitality. Shout out to Kelsey and Brenda ! The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and in a private location ( not overlooking the street and road). The baked goods and sliced breads given at breakfast were amazing as they came directly from the der Dutchman bakery on the property. The hotel had beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and sand toys which they lent out. Super helpful as we were traveling from New York. We even did laundry in their guest laundry room. It’s a short 18 minute drive to siesta keys - most beautiful beach in the US. Hotel is close to many shops - target, Walmart, dollar tree should one need to pick anything up. Close to very good restaurants - we enjoyed food from Columbia ( my favorite), Myrna’s ( great authentic Cuban), Cocoa bistro ( great authentic Venezuelan). We will definitely be returning to the Carlisle! Loved the hotel and Siesta Keys. Absolutely the best- the hype is real- White sand, warm water!"
