The property is absolutely beautiful and felt like we stayed in an oasis! It is so romantic and definitely worth the stay. It is walking distance to Ornos beach. You take the stairs and go directly to the town instead of walking on the busy roads. I need to point out the breakfast which was absolutely delicious and what I looked forward to every morning. Make sure to order the orange juice, so GOOD. Only issue is going to Mykonos town, it’s expensive to take a taxi (35-55 Euros) but that is the price all over the island. Consider taking the bus from Ornos or renting an ATV!

So beyond impressed and happy we found Kivotos. The hotel is beautifully designed with the most stunning views, and the staff is absolutely incredible. The most genuine and kind group of people that made our experience 1000x better and more comfortable. Also, the luxury pelican private drivers affiliated with the hotel were above and beyond. They made us feel safe, always responsive, and just the kindest people. We hope to be back again!

This was our first time to Mykonos. The property at Kivotos is stunning. Having our own private beach was beyond exciting because all of the beaches charge $40.00 to have a chair and umbrella. The staff was so gracious and kind and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Also having a bidet in our room was wonderful as we quickly learned you don’t put toilet paper in the toilets in Greece. I will forever be a fan and recommend Kivotos to anyone wanting a luxury stay in Mykonos!!! Special thanks to Fatoula and Gregory for making our stay so special.

KIVOTOS Mykonos, Seaside Serenity

On a recent visit to Mykonos, I returned once again to Kivotos Mykonos, beautifully set on the bay of Ornos. This place has become something of a tradition for me—not just for its prime location right by the water, but for the comforting sense of luxury it always brings. The setting couldn’t be better. The hotel opens right onto the sea, with the crystal-clear waters of Ornos beach just steps away. When I travel to the islands, that direct connection to the sea matters—and Kivotos gets it just right. This was actually my fourth time staying here, and every visit reminds me why boutique hotels resonate so deeply with me. Kivotos was one of Greece’s first boutique hotels, and it still shines with style, personality, and charm. Over the years, it’s welcomed its fair share of celebrities and continues to attract those who appreciate authenticity and elegance. The service was spot-on, the team genuinely warm, and the food delicious—thoughtfully prepared and satisfying in the best way. From start to finish, everything ran effortlessly, and once again, it surpassed what I had hoped for. Kivotos remains one of my favorite spots in Mykonos—and it’s easy to see why.

This property is absolutely as stunning in real-life as the pictures online, which is always my biggest concern when booking accommodations anywhere. From the moment we arrived, we were helped with our bags and pampered. The pool area is impeccably beautiful and cleaned every single day by hand and with the little underwater machine in the AM. The bedroom was very, very clean and well air-conditioned. They even had fresh flowers in our room which was a lovely touch. The hotel transport was seamless, and our driver was very helpful with our luggage and kind. The breakfast is so, so good, and the view from the breakfast spot is just breathtaking in the mornings. This spot also has its own private beach with daybeds, and it was absolutely lovely having that nice touch. It's not sandy, so don't expect that. But it's quiet and removed from all the hustle and bustle of the main, crowded beaches. An absolutely phenomenal stay!!

I was really disappointed with this hotel. It is supposed to be one of the best hotels in the area. The internet was really bad in our room. Also bad communication with staff. Breakfast is served at 8am. If you had to leave early on a trip there were no other options for breakfast. We asked for an iron. They would take the iron back. it was a nightmare to request 1 iron. I can't believe a hotel of this magnitude would not have multiple irons for the guest.

Lovely hotel in great location.

We had a great time at the hotel and although on close inspection it looks like it needs a bit of an update it is made perfect by the great staff and location. The main pool area is great and having your own private beach is an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Awesome experience in this luxury hotel

I stayed there for one weekend in September. The place is great, the rooms are big and comfortable. Staff is polite and friendly. Food is great. My overall experience was very good and I totally recommend the hotel for everyone that wants to have a great time in Mykonos and live an unforgettable experience there!

Very fancy and good food

Very good hotel, rooms are a little bit small but it was nice to have sea view when I had booked garden view. Also the private beach is not something you will enjoy but at 5 minutes you can have the sandy option (at 15 € per seat).
